THE YARD

Description

This seat was a labour of love that took over 30 hours to complete.  Each component part was hand cut and crafted from 6 recycled scaffold boards, each measuring 2.4 m x 240mm x 60mm.  For durability, the feet were made of oak.

The bench itself measures 2.4 m long x 500mm deep and 700mm high.

It is finished in a deep mahogany stain with 4 coats of hard wearing varnish to protect it from the weather, if used as a garden piece.  Otherwise, it is perfectly suitable as an indoor seat.

This piece needs to be seen and felt to be appreciated properly.
