Reclaimed Furniture

At The Yard we create handcrafted, high-quality industrial furniture and reclaimed furniture for our client’s and customers across North East England and more.  Whenever we can, we use reclaimed, recycled or re-purposed materials to build our reclaimed furniture.  However, due to the high quality of our products and customer requirements, this is not always possible.

During the design and consultation process, we listen carefully to our customer’s ideas and visions for each unique piece.  Our existing and new clients know that the furniture we make for them cannot be bought on mainstream shopping centres B&S or online stores such as Etsy or Not on the High St, for example.

To help with design, we advise our customers to look for inspiration of sites such as Pinterest or online magazines such s Ideal Homes.
