Description

Made from recycled scaffold boards and pine sleepers, this Coffee table has been inlaid with a vintage Scrabble board and Scrabble tiles.  It is  another one of our one-of-a-kind pieces.

Its not visible in the photos, but the Scrabble board and tiles are bound in a clear epoxy resin and can take hot cups and knocks and scrapes without spoiling.  Like most of our work, it needs to be seen and felt to be fully appreciated.

The top is constructed out of a single reclaimed scaffold board ( 2.4 m x 250mm x 60mm) and the legs are made from some roof trusses salvaged from demolished school that was built back in the 1930’s.

The words in the Scrabble table were put together by an amazing husband and wife team in around 30mins, and they used every single tile in the box.
